Quick Tip: Snap Shots

This video offers three coaching points on how to improve your wrist shot or snapshot.

Coaching Points:

  1. Top Hand Position: Keep your top hand up and away from your body. Avoid having it too tight to your body or dropping it, as this will reduce your range of motion and power.

  2. Hand Placement: Ensure that your hands are positioned at a forearm's width apart. This placement provides a good balance between control and power.

  3. Use Your Bottom Hand for Power: As you take the shot, push down with your bottom hand to generate additional power. This helps load the stick properly and delivers a stronger shot.

By practicing these elements, players can develop a more effective and powerful wrist shot and snapshot.
